What This Site Collects
This privacy policy covers the website of Carolina Signature Properties, a real estate brokerage based in Harrisburg, North Carolina. It explains what information the site collects, who receives it and what you can ask us to do with it. Last updated October 2026.
When you fill out a form on this site, such as the contact form or a request for a guide, we collect what you type in: your first name, last name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, a message and the answers to any extra questions that form asks.
Some forms include a box you can check to agree to receive text messages. If you check it, the site records that you agreed, the exact wording you were shown and the time you agreed. We keep that record because it is how we show that a text we send you was one you asked for.
The site also notes where your visit came from when you arrived through a link, such as an email or an online ad. That means the campaign tags attached to the link and the name of the website that sent you, such as facebook.com. It never records the full address of the page you came from, and it is not used to follow you around other websites. This information describes the link you clicked, not you, and it is saved with your form only if you submit one.
Like almost every website, the servers that run this site keep standard technical logs, such as the time of a visit and the type of browser used. Your browser also remembers whether you chose the light or dark display, and remembers a few details for the length of one visit, such as whether you have already seen the chat introduction. Those settings stay on your own device.

Your information is received by Carolina Signature Properties and used by us to respond to you.
This website is hosted by Vercel, a company that runs websites on its servers. Everything you submit through a form or type into the chat box on this site passes through Vercel's systems so that it can reach us. Vercel processes it on our behalf as a service provider and does not use it for its own marketing.
When you submit a form, Resend, an email delivery service, sends your submission to us by email. Resend processes it on our behalf as a service provider and does not use it for its own marketing.
To protect our forms and chat box from automated spam, Upstash, a data storage service, briefly records the internet address (IP address) each submission comes from, so it can count how many submissions one address sends. That record deletes itself after about a minute. Upstash processes it on our behalf as a service provider.
The chat box on this site does not currently send your messages to any other company. It tells you how to reach us by phone or through the contact page.
If we add another service that receives information from this site, such as a system for organizing our client contacts and follow-up, a chat assistant, or advertising and measurement tools, we will name it on this page before it goes into use. You should never have to guess who has your information.
We do not sell your personal information.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you send us to answer your question, and to follow up with you about buying or selling a home in the Charlotte region and around Lake Norman.
We also send marketing emails. If you give us your contact information, you may receive emails from Carolina Signature Properties with market information, new listings, guides and other material about real estate. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe, and once you use it we stop sending you marketing email.
We keep your information until you ask us to delete it. You can ask at any time, using the contact details at the bottom of this page, and we will remove it from our records except where the law requires us to keep something.
If you become a client, the paperwork for a real estate transaction is kept under the record-keeping rules that apply to North Carolina real estate brokerages. Those records are separate from the website inquiries this policy describes.
Calls and Text Messages
Giving us your phone number on a form does not, by itself, sign you up for text messages. We only send texts to people who checked the consent box on our form. The box is never checked for you.
The consent wording on our forms reads: "I agree to receive text messages from Carolina Signature Properties at the number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help."
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. Reply HELP for help, or contact us directly. Stopping texts does not stop email, and unsubscribing from email does not stop texts, so let us know if you want both to end.
If you give us your number and ask us to call, we will call you about the question you asked.
Your Choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call us using the details below and we will respond. We may need to confirm it is you before we change or share anything, so that nobody else can ask on your behalf without your permission.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any email we send, and you can stop text messages by replying STOP.
You can also control what your own browser stores. Clearing your browser's site data removes the display setting and the visit details described above, and the site still works without them.
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update this page and the date at the top.

No. Carolina Signature Properties does not sell your personal information. The only outside companies that currently receive it are Vercel, which hosts this website, and Resend, which delivers form submissions to us by email, both on our behalf.
