Living in Lake Shore Estates

Lake Shore Estates began in 1976 on more than 300 acres of former farmland and was built out through 2007. At its center is a private 42-acre community lake, with six ponds spread through the neighborhood.

The homes are mostly brick traditionals on acre-size lots, roughly 1,800 to 6,400 square feet. For buyers who want land and water views more than a clubhouse, it is an uncommon option among the Concord neighborhoods we cover.

Buying or Selling in Lake Shore Estates

With homes built over three decades, condition and updates vary widely, and so do sizes. An acre lot also brings questions a smaller lot does not: drainage, trees, any outbuildings, and, for homes on the water, exactly what the community's rules allow at the lake's edge. We put those on the list for the due diligence period. How we help you buy explains how we set it.

For sellers, pricing here is property by property. A home on the lake, one on a pond and one on an interior lot are different purchases, and the Seller Market Position Review compares yours with sales that share its setting. Selling your home in Concord covers the launch, and downsizing in Concord covers a move to something smaller.
